"It’s all about colors BABY!! Then, shapes, lines, findings, moods, time of day, and day of the week. There aren’t any complications, but I let myself be free and let my imagination run with the colors I enjoy and celebrate.

Painting provides me with fun, pleasure, peace, and tranquility. A great part of me is very happy.  I am allowing myself to paint and continue developing my artistic side.

I celebrate people of all races, colors, shapes, and genders. I celebrate my mother, Maria Auxiliadora, and my sister, Carmen Julia. They’re fundamentals in my life, and I will continue to celebrate them, especially women. This journey is to honor the female being.

My materials are simple, and cardboard is my foundational canvas. Household painting gives me plenty of choices, and my brushes are mainly tree branches and my own hands.

Finally, here I am. I have a lot to do and “walk”, and all the time to be free and paint what I want to paint. One paint at a time." - Juan Carlos
